Samayik - A 48-Minute Practice: for 360 degree transformation

A Practice of Right Thought, Not Just Positive Thought
Every day, for 48 minutes, if you don’t fall in love with unhealthy thoughts, if you don’t practice wrong words, emotions, or actions, if you don’t cultivate or attach to wrong thinking—you can produce unimaginable vibrations. Vibrations that are extremely powerful.

Jain philosophy does not operate on “positive” or “negative” but on right and wrong. For example, sometimes speaking what seems negative is essential for maintaining discipline—and that is not wrong.

of the Body Creates Power

Let’s look at the aspect of the body.
If, for 48 minutes, there is no pain, and you can stabilize your body without moving, an unimaginable power is generated within. You need to maintain your posture (asana) without movement. And if you do move, it should be with awareness.

Once you achieve this stability in your body, your mind and speech will naturally change.

Just like you wouldn’t drink polluted or unclean water when thirsty, because it contains impurities, similarly—your Samayik should be pure.

Experiences of Upadhyay Shri Rishi Praveen

Upadhyay Shri Rishi Praveen, in his sessions on Jainology in practical life, trained people on how to do Samayik and how to maintain body posture without movement—for 48 mins. The results were unimaginable. By conquering the body, people reported relief from migraines, digestive issues, and many more physical problems.

Upadhyay Shri shares a personal memory with his Gurudev. As a teenager, when he was under his Gurudev’s guidance, he was asked: "Why do you keep moving your body? Why can’t you sit stable?"

From that day onwards, he trained and disciplined his body. Today, Upadhyay Gurudev Rishi Praveen can sit for 8 continuous hours without moving even his little finger.

Conclusion

Samayik is not just a 48-minute ritual—it’s a spiritual revolution. A bridge between karma and liberation. In a chaotic, war-torn, emotionally unstable world, the silent strength of Samayik is the peaceful revolution we need.
Whether it’s for the body, mind, or soul, this one simple practice can create powerful ripples across every part of your life—and beyond.
